Now learn about cloud deployment, open-source cloud options, deployment and infrastructure setup. We'll work up the entire stack, starting from Infrastructure as a service through platform and software as a service layers, including a talk from the author of a new open-source application deployment framework. We are going to get down and dirty in the trenches with tools of the cloud.

    So, you've built your rails 3.0 beta app and now it's time to deploy it. How? Where? Is the cloud a viable option? In this workshop, we'll discuss reasons for going to the 'cloud,' tricky things and tricks for working with it and show you hands-on how to get a sinatra app running in EC2, Heroku and Rackspace. We'll work withs ome cool tools and demo beehive, a new open-source platform as a service application framework. We'll all do this hands-on and live.
